Which DTF Film Format Should You Choose?
Base it on your machine first, then your volume:
- Running a roll-to-roll DTF printer → roll. Also the format to choose if you feed an automatic powder shaker, since the roll automation compatibility applies to roll films.
- Flat-feed workflow, or you want to trial settings cheaply → sheet.
- Mixed production → both. Sheets for sampling, rolls for production runs.

Custom specs are made to your requirements rather than pulled from stock, so the details need to be confirmed before the order goes into production. Get width, length and artwork settled in writing.
Custom and OEM orders normally start at 100 rolls. If you are testing a brand concept, start with the standard formats and move to custom packaging once the volume justifies it.
How to Order Mixed DTF Film Sizes in One Container
You can mix 33cm, 60cm and 120cm DTF film widths in a single container to save cost.
This is the single most useful commercial detail for buyers running more than one printer width. Splitting a container across widths means you reach the freight-efficiency of a full load while still getting the assortment you actually need — instead of either over-ordering one width or paying for a partial load.
